EAI Concrete spacers  are a high strength concrete spacer with an integrated galvanized tie wire which can be fixed on to reinforcing. Due to their high strength and flat base, they are ideal for supporting reinforcing in high load applications for slab on ground, civil and infrastructure applications. Our concrete spacers comply with the requirements of BS EN 12390 PART 3: 2019 and most JKR standard.

HOW TO INSTALL EAI CONCRETE SPACERS
  • Spacer have been quality checked of their Strength to ensure the suitable requirements.
  • Check the reinforcement are installed completely and correctly.
  • Supply the spacers with the right specification of concrete cover for use.
  • Prepare the right size of tied wire for connection of spacer to steel rebar.
  • Lift the steel cage and place the spacer underneath.
  • Adjust the spacer in perpendicular direction with steel rebar.
  • Use the embedded wire to tie the steel rebar with spacer.
  • Double check using hand to ensure the concrete spacers are securely tight to rebar.
  • The distance of spacer will comply with the design.
